Workaround :
- launch the game
- Alt+Tab switch out to other windows
- disable HDR in windows settings-display
- Alt+Tab switch back to 2042 (must fullscreen)
- Win+Alt+B to enable HDR
This is not a valid workaround. This simply causes BF2042 to disable HDR and display in SDR instead. Your monitor and OS will still be in HDR mode. But the game will not. You might as well just disable HDR mode in windows and the game if you do this so-called "workaround".

I persist, I insist and I sign: this manipulation works....
My game is in HDR (the indicator on my screen as well as the one in the game shows it) the colors are bright like the hdr before update...
Whatever you think, I can tell the difference. And for the life of me, I don't know how or why, just: it works. Period.
