It might be worth checking that the purchase has been successfully completed and that your Steam and EA accounts are linked. Failing that, you should contact the retailer or EA Help (help.ea.com) for assistance.

I have the exact same problem, i got told by support to open the game through EA. This did not help me, but might help you. I'm still trying to get my credits over 24h after the purchase.
