Summarize your bug When hitting or destroying vehicles with Lis' G-84 TGM there sometimes appears to be no attribution/hud info for hitting the enemy vehicle orsometimes there might even be no damage caused at all.
How often does the bug occur? Occasionally (10% - 49%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play as Lis over multiple rounds and heavily focus on destroying enemy vehicles & helicopters. Most frequently happenes to me when hitting ground vehicles on Valparaiso on the slope leading up to C1 or towards C2 when fired from the hilltop between B2 and B3.
What happens when the bug occurs? There are possibly 2 things that happen - I cannot verify if there is any damage caused on all hits. Today (13.11.22) I blew up a crewed little bird from medium range (the vehicle was still highlighted red from Lis' Armor Hunter trait) but got no hit marker, vehicle hit/destroyed and no kill attribution - not even in the scoreboard. While hitting vehicles on angled terrain, this issue is especially standing out with MAVs and MBTs on Valparaiso, the rocket impacting the vehicle does not appear to cause any damage to it or at least the game does in fact not attribute a "Vehicle Hit" bonus.
What should be happening instead? The vehicle takes damage/gets destroyed with the proper points + kills attribution popping up on screen.

Upon investigating the debris left over from the destroyed little bird the killed pilot's body was clearly visible lying on the ground so I'm quite confident my rocket did in fact destroy the helicopter. There also weren't any other inbound projectiles or impacts at that time. This occurence was observed on Renewal but there have been hit registration/attribution issues on every map but they appear to be most frequent on Valparaiso when shooting ground vehicles on slopes as described in the bug recreation steps.

If desired/required I can try to record footage of this happening in the future.

Thank you for contributing and taking videos!

However in your clips you can always see one or two APS-36 Shootdown Sentinels (Irish's gadgets) next to the tank intercepting your rockets so that is why you are not getting any hits. This is an intended gameplay mechanic but it's hard to observe while being in the heat of the battle. In my instances I can actually see and hear the rocket impact the target but I didn't get any hit registration/attribution. You can notice the difference between a APS-36 takedown and a non registered hit by how far away from the target you get kicked out of the rocket cam.

I've tried recording some clips over the past two weeks or so (I was very busy at work so I didn't get around to playing a whole lot) but as soon as I enable the Nvidia overlay, not even the "Instant Replay" or what it's called these days, my game performance plummets into a very unenjoyable territories. I could maybe make it work by turning off raytracing but that would impact my player experience since I do get a lot of kills from people being blissfully unaware of their shadows. I'll look into providing clips of my own whenever I get the chance but no promises as of now :/ Also I'm quite confident that in the instances I experienced there was no APS-36 present, especially in the one with the helicopter I shot down.

  • Crap, you're right. I noticed people doing this recently, but didn't look for those shoot down sentries in the videos. Maybe they should add some sort of notification when your rocket gets shot down by gunfire or those?
