Infared scope bug

Summarize your bug The infared scopes will not highlight enemies through smoke screens. Please fix this. It also will stop highlighting enemies while I'm aiming down the scope.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Use an infared scope
What happens when the bug occurs? Enemies will not be highlighted by the infared when they pop a smoke screen
What should be happening instead? Enemies should be highlight because they are warm blooded and I have a THERMAL scope to see them through the SMOKE screen

    It is intended that thermal scopes don't work through player activated smoke.  The descriptions of the smoke grenade and smoke grenade launcher show this intent.  Also thermal smoke on vehicles blocks thermal lock-ons.  It makes sense that [anti]thermal smoke would block thermal scopes as well.   I do however see enemies randomly not being highlighted in thermal scopes when they should be.

    I believe the source of the confusion is that the only thermal signatures that ends up obstructed by smoke are the soldiers and vehicles; ammo pouches, guns, and deployables remain highlighted through smoke.
