Input delay - Controller - Xbox Series X
Has anyone been able to resolve the input lag issues with Xbox Series X?
when I aim left or right, there is a noticeable delay between input and action. It kills the game performance.

Same here. It’s driving me crazy.
Everything is working fine until I aim down sights, then it’s like I’m aiming underwater. The FPS drops and the controller lags. I’ve already messed with the FOV, sensitivity, etc. but nothing works. Anyone else?
- @JonesyWelsh and @CroweUH1Y I saw a video last night regarding mouse input lag and what settings to adjust which got me thinking if that would work for you all as well. Test it out if you want but remember your settings incase you want reset them back to what they were previously.
Under the Controller tab, under "On Foot", try this: (these can be found in the advanced section)
Vertical Aim Ratio = 100
Vertical Zoom Ratio = 100
Uniform Soldier Aiming = Off
Zoom Transition Sensitivity Smoothing = Off
Now go to the Mouse & Keyboard tab, under On Foot, and change: (these can be found in the advanced section)
Vertical Mouse Aim Ratio = 100
Vertical Mouse Zoom Aim Ratio = 100
Uniform Soldier Aiming = Off
Zoom Transition Sensitivity Smoothing = Off

I’ve tried the settings and it has not made a difference. Also as I’m a console/controller player, I don’t have keyboard and mouse options.
I have tried to plug and keyboard and mouse in but it appears 2042 doesn’t support keyboard and mouse on consoles.
Lastly, I’ve tried to change different video settings for HDR, 4K and variable refresh rate. No change.

https://gamerant.com/battlefield-2042-120hz-ps5-xbox-series-x-no-support-explanation/ Had it on my Xbox one x and a console restart worked once, only once and the last thing that worked was moving the game from the internal hard drive to my external hard drive, fixed it last night but once again today the issue is back again, so it could be a temporary fix but not guaranteed
