@JonesyWelsh and @CroweUH1Y I saw a video last night regarding mouse input lag and what settings to adjust which got me thinking if that would work for you all as well. Test it out if you want but remember your settings incase you want reset them back to what they were previously.
Under the Controller tab, under "On Foot", try this: (these can be found in the advanced section)
Vertical Aim Ratio = 100
Vertical Zoom Ratio = 100
Uniform Soldier Aiming = Off
Zoom Transition Sensitivity Smoothing = Off
Now go to the Mouse & Keyboard tab, under On Foot, and change: (these can be found in the advanced section)
Vertical Mouse Aim Ratio = 100
Vertical Mouse Zoom Aim Ratio = 100
Uniform Soldier Aiming = Off
Zoom Transition Sensitivity Smoothing = Off
Let me know if it helps.

Hi Coolbreeze,
I’ve tried the settings and it has not made a difference. Also as I’m a console/controller player, I don’t have keyboard and mouse options.
I have tried to plug and keyboard and mouse in but it appears 2042 doesn’t support keyboard and mouse on consoles.
Lastly, I’ve tried to change different video settings for HDR, 4K and variable refresh rate. No change.
thanks,
