Input temporarily freezing

I don't remember this happening in the beta, but it has happened since the launch of the full game. I have reinstalled the game several times, I have tried using different USB ports, and unplugging every USB device other then my mouse and keyboard. I have never experienced any similar issues in any other game or software. The bug occurs multiple times in every match and happens randomly, not triggered by anything in the game. It can happen in vehicles or on foot and also when I am waiting to be  revived, but does not happen in menu or deployment screens. Every time it happens it follows the exact same pattern, freezing for about 2-5 seconds, unfreezing for about 0.5 seconds and then freezing again for another 2-5 seconds, then it stops and if I am still alive I am able to control the game normally for a few minutes before it happens again.
