Possible CPU bottleneck with 8700k/3080, maybe. Lots of CPU physics happening in game all the time. That said though BF games always run badly when they first come out which is usually fixed after a few updates. For reference I'm getting 100-130fps most of the time (map dependant) all Ultra in game settings, 3440x1440 21:9 Ultrawide (RTX off becuase it makes everything look soft) with 11900k/3090/32GB RAM/SSD's

Erratic CPU and GPU usage with wildly fluctuating FPS can be a sign of CPU bottleneck but if BFV ran fine for you then it's probably not the case so I would say that it's just a case of waiting for the inevitable performance updates that will follow at some point. There's tons of people complaining of low FPS so it is definitely an issue at the moment band will no doubt be sorted at some point.
- UP_LordPlumber4 years agoSeasoned Ace@RipGroove99 Thats the thing. I'm not getting CPU bottleneck because that would cause stutters and FPS drops. I've experienced that in BF5 with 8600k where it was pinned at 100% and FPS were dropping from 100+ to 40. Here everything stays super stable as if the game simply isn't designed to use all of the resources.

I've got a 3060ti and even in the pretty bad beta i was getting solid FPS numbers in the 100's most of the time but this is just straight up awful currently and the fact you still get stupidly low FPS even running everything on Low says there's something seriously wrong with the game currently and thats before you start getting in to some of the actual bugs
