Issues with in game chat

Same situation here, but i am from Europe and on PC. I think it started around Season 6 update being released.

Before this point, "yellow / golden name bug" according to web sources is the game just being buggy (thinking you are the host.. that's the color custom match owners used to have) and limited to one session of being bugged. But now, it is permanent, to you and me, and constitutes being unable to chat as no one will see your messages.

I hope it's a bug that can be rectified, i have been unable to speak to other players for over a week. If it's not a bug but instead wrongful handling of player reports, like false reports, like by Indian outsourced EA employees, or for the reason of saying something like "*" or softly annoyed messages, and if yellow/gold is the new color for if you are punished-muted .. it would be even worse on EA/DICE and the quality of our experience with your game. I never say more than "noob", "ez" and such things, so i continue to believe it's either a bug or mishandling moderation (being wayy too aggressive) if this is silently pushed as a way to notice you're muted globally, indefinitely. I hope that's not the case, as i would say shame on EA. I am one of your most loyal players since over 15 years, a Battlefield veteran, i even was entered into the closed beta of Battlefield 2042 (the first one, that was limited to 100 seats or something) through EA Playtesting, and worked my ** off to provide feedback on it.
