I'm sorry to hear that you're having this issue.
We’ve got basic and advanced troubleshooting steps on EA Help to help you with your connection. Try these steps first to see if they help you stay connected while you’re playing:
Basic: http://x.ea.com/ea/basic-connection-ts
Advanced: http://x.ea.com/ea/advanced-connection-ts
Our number one tip is to hardwire your console to your router. Hardwiring is the best way to have the most stable connection.

These troubleshooting steps are shallow and not helpful. I've been experiencing the same issue for more than a month now and nothing is fixing it. My internet connection is fine and basic troubleshooting is not doing the trick. Are there any more involved steps that can be taken to remedy this issue. The game is unplayable for me now.

I have the same problem and no troubleshooting step helped me out of my situation. Ive already reinstalled battlefield 2042 but nothing helped. If I play another shooter everything works. Is there nobody who can help me with our problem?

Hey @zzxman2791zz,
If the troubleshooting steps didn't fix the issue for you, I would recommend reaching out to your ISP for possible further steps.- 3 years ago@EA_Leeuw nah its not the isp its gotta be the game files or on ea's end
- 3 years ago@EA_Leeuw did not work at all ive even contacted my isp and they said its most likely the game server

I've been having the same issue as well and i'm on PC and hardwired to the router. I get 500mbs download on speedtest..My wife works for my ISP and it's not on them. I'm on a fairly good machine (Ryzen 7 5800x, NVIDIA GeForce 3080...)

Hey @SharkyShizzle,
Sorry to hear that you also get this connection error. Since when are you getting this error, if I may ask?- 3 years ago
It's now going on it's 2nd week. I've done basically everything I can find on here and youtube. I've un installed and re-installed, I've changed dns settings, and all the other connection stuff too. I even noticed the same error trying out BF3! I crash out of NFS Heat as well. If I load up sniper Elite 5 I can play all night long. I'm very close to seeing if my Call of Duty works...lol
- 2 years ago@EA_Leeuw I promise it has nothing to do with router/modems. Every other game works except EA based games. I don’t have any troubles with any other game. Every single battlefield game, I can’t even get into a game before it disconnects me. Everything on EAs site says it’s a router problem, it’s 10000000000% NOT that, promise you. So quit spewing that *, thanks.
