I am having this exact same problem as well not sure how to get passed it unfortunately. I have tried all 3 of my controllers that I knew for sure don’t have stick drift. I even went into other controller games and this problem only seemed to happen on 2042. I know for sure that it has to do with the game. I play with PlayStation controllers and they are showing Xbox icons, so maybe this may link to the problem
