matchmaking failed 3:2903J

I've tried every mode and get the same error (tried solo and mp as well)
Matchmaking Failed
Error code: 3:2903J:900l:-6534260950[...]

if i select multiplayer it sits there for a long time

I've also tried hosting a portal server... no dice there either  error:no server found 9:7205636470

if i browse portals they're all empty, and if i click to join one i get the 9 720 error as well


on PC, ive tried repairing, closing/reopening, updated drivers, etc.
I was able to play just fine before the last update.

    hrm....I did another full computer restart and this time ea app said there was a 15Mb update for battlefield, and now it works =\
    Odd that repair and previous restarted didnt make this update show up

    I and some others had the same issue with this latest patch and the one prior. The problem is the EA app is either not receiving or not properly handing game update notifications. Twice now I've had to clear the EA app cache in order to get it to find the update for the game. This problem didn't exist until a few weeks ago.

    I think this might only be a problem from those us who initially installed the BF2042 game under the Origin client and then later installed the EA app.

    @DigitalHype Yes I agree with what you are saying, I had the same Problem... I had the EA app Crash and I couldn't Login until the next day.
