How do you download the latest update if there isn't any notification for it and it doesn't show in the download manager on the EA platform? @EA_Atic 

I fixed this by going into my steam settings>downloads and clearing my download cache. It makes you restart and sign in but it downloaded the update. I hope this helps.

The play button suddenly changed to a "download" button. I am updating the game now, and hopefully that will solve the issue. 

The game updated but instead of the matchmaking error, I am unable to play the game due to a black screen now. 

I have EA Play Pro and using EA app (beta).. I’ve tried everything, there is now way to start a game update!

*** sign out from EA app and sign back in.. now it shows the update button!! ***

It did. Wasn't showing as an option at first
