Started only cpl days ago, start the game from disc, all game updates current, when asked to connect to online services comes up with the screen "choose the plan that's right for you" Game Pass ultimate v xbox live gold???And when you back out of the page comes upERROR Missing Privileges to play on line Error code1:3300J:15021:18649272610:1864927261BCan anyone help? What am I missing here?

Hi @CheekyPE To confirm for Battlefield 2042, it has required a subscription since the launch of the game. I play on a Series X at home and have always needed one. You can confirm from Microsoft's store page here. Going with either just Xbox Gold or Game Pass Ultimate (which offer Gold accesses as well) will give the required Xbox subscription to play online.

Thank you for your prompt reply, so do I understand from your comments: that to play Battlefield 2042 on line now,(October 2022) I need to have an active subscribe to either Game Pass ultimate OR Xbox live gold?
And if that is the case is this something new? Since I have been playing this game for a while now without any active subscription.

Hi @EA_Illium thank you for your heads up, I don't know how I was playing this game without any subscription for such a long time, reached ranking S024 overall and 40 odd in season 2.
So yeah my first thoughts were what's going on here but thanks to you now I realise I somehow had a free ride for all that time and perhaps the latest xbox update Oct 1 closed the door on me.??

I have installed Outsiders and Battlefield 2024 in Xbox series x but it asks for Gamepass and then gives Error: Missing privileges to play online. Error Code 1:3300J:1502I:18649272610:1864927261B any solution ?

@Guns2303 Hi there, yes unfortunately to play you need to pay 😞 I think it's the trend by MS pushing all online games to pay to play sadly.
