My ea friends have disappeared

Logged in today to play with some friends to find that they have disappeared from my ea friends list. I have cross play on and the game is up to date for all of us. We just played together the night before so I'm not sure what's going on. I can find them when I search for them but it won't let me re-add them or invite them. I'm on ps5 and they are on Xbox. We are running the right version we need to to play together.

    I have since found a solution. I uninstalled the game completely but that didn't work. I switched xplay on and off a of couple times and it magically came back. Not sure what I really did or how it was fixed but it's back to normal now. Maybe it just worked for me but worth the try.

    @chaosxfusion Yea my dad and I play all the time and it’s our only way to do things together, we waited all day to play while I worked and now we can’t even add each other. Quite irritating coming from a game series that’s been out for 10+ years, you’d think after making so many of their floppy games they would attempt to make them work atleast

    Yea I feel that. I only get a set day or two to play with one of my friends as work holds are attention the other days so something like this is really aggravating as it's the first real game problem we have experienced.

    I have the same issue here.  Trying to play with my son. I am on PC and he is on Xbox.  I can see him but can send friend request. Come EA fix your stuff.

    @chaosxfusion I'm on PS5 and the whole EA friends tab is gone along with the invites section so I only see PSN, recent players and blocked.

    Happened when master of arms arrived. My PC friends can't see that I'm online either even though I'm in a game playing. I can't see any solution yet.
