My mic does not work in BF2042
I do not know why my mic does not work in BF2042 but it works in TeamSpeak and Discord.

@Rajun_Cajun64 Do you have it enabled? Go to OPTIONS-SOUND-VOICE CHAT. 2 settings ENABLE VOICE CHAT and MICROPHONE MODE open mic.
If you're the only one with this enabled in squad you wont see anything, but if a squad member has it on you should see your gamertag and speaker in top right of screen when you speak.

Problem solved with a new headset lol.
What was your fix? I'm having same issues. Mic works everywhere but BF. In-game Settings are correct. Windows mic / sound settings are updated and correct.

Howzit. Hope you well. I use normal JBL earphones, the ones for R250 bucks. I have used these faithful earphones for years. NO issues. Now all of a sudden my Mic does not pick up on BF2042? It was working the other day, but not sure why the EXTERNAL microphone (JBL mic) is no longer working. I have double checked all my Mic settings (WHY would I change it LOL) and still no joy. Does anyone have a solution to this?
