No friends online in battlefield 2042

Hi all. I ran into a very annoying problem.
My social app tab in the right hand corner of the game screen shows no one friends online even when, they are in fact online. It also shows that I am not online for them.

We have the game on steam and also have the EA launcher installed. I've added screenshots taken at the same time to show what it looks like.

Solutions we have tried:
Restart PC
Сlear EA launcher cache
Reinstall game and EA launcher
Checked that the antivirus is not blocking anything

Delete friend and add again

Launch the game directly from the EA launcher (with Steam closed)

Update all drivers and system updates

The only difference is that my friend has windows 11, and I have windows 10.
