Nvidia Overlay still doesn't work without the game crashing or loading up

Hi all , Since update 4 I've not been able to use Nvidia overlay without the game crashing or loading up at all , the latest update 4.01 and the latest Nvidia driver I was hoping this may of been fixed , has anyone found a fix for this issue , the overlay makes the game so mush sharper , thanks
