Nvidia Shadow play instant replay is causing my game to lag/stutter

Im having an issue where Nvidias shadowplay is causing my game to lag/stutter.  When I bring up the Nvidia overlay while in-game, to turn on instant replay, my mouse sort of freezes to the center of...

I assume both of you have tried to reinstall Nvidia experience?

Hi @EA_Atic - I just did a clean uninstall and a fresh clean reinstall of the current latest version of Nvidia Experience. The extremely sluggish mouse cursor problem persists when I open it (using Alt+Z). Cursor will not move fast at all, it lags, badly. Still running game at 4k. I guess I could try lower resolutions; will get back with any developments. so stay tuned.

    @Huffen_74 Ok, so I tried 4k, 2k and 1080. The problem persists at those resolutions.

      Do you have any controllers connected to the PC? @Huffen_74

      I assume the monitor cable is connected with GPU and not the onboard motherboard connection?

        @EA_Atic - Correct, no controller/s attached to the PC and the 27in 4k monitor is connected to the GPU via its DVI port and equally essential HDMI port.
