AMD or Nvidia Model Number nvidia 3070
Enter RAM memory size in GB 32GB
Are you using any software with an overlay? No

Which part of the mode? ConquestSmall

On which server did this happen? Flashback Conquest promoted
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) 06/05/22
Summarize your bug Happens a lot, you spam the deploy parachute button and it simply doesn't deploy
How often does the bug occur? Occasionally (10% - 49%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? repeatedly jump from aircraft at various heights and try to pull your parachute
What happens when the bug occurs? The parachute doesn't deploy and you die
What should be happening instead? The parachute should deploy

This continues to be a very, very annoying bug reporting process

  • It's not just from aircraft, it can be from any high point. I've been having the same issues and it's not a latency or packet loss problem on my end. The parachute will animate that it opened and my falling visually slows on screen but when I touch the ground I die as if my parachute was not open.

I would also like to add to this bug, there is an issue with Mackay when he uses the grappling hook to get on top of low flying or hovering aircraft. E.g., let’s say that he grapples to the top of a condor that is hovering just above the ground, if he jumps or falls off, he will instantly die when he touches the ground even though the condor was lower than a one-story building in the air. This is 100% repeatable by standing on top of a very low hovering aircraft and jumping down to the ground or another surface like a skyscraper rooftop.

  • same here on PS5, if i push the deploy parachute button 1x its got about a 60% deploy rate, if I spam it it will work when I want.  Gotten killed dozens of times because of it not deploying.

Summarize your bug It's a hit or miss if they deploy when you are near the ground. Sometime they deploy at i.e. 20m, sometimes they don't at the same height. and you just die.
How often does the bug occur? Occasionally (10% - 49%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Deploy parachute near the ground.
What happens when the bug occurs? It doesn't trigger the deployment.
What should be happening instead? The parachute should be consistent across all heights starting at a given minimum of for example 20m.

    Everything said above.

  • It's not just the parachute...

    It's reloading, crouching, going prone...

There's literally phases where there is no input on PC, absolutely infuriating they can't fix basic gameplay.

  • @SkacikPL Rofl I totally forgot I posted this thread but...yeah, it is. Auto-deploy sometimes pulls your chute ASAP, sometimes pulls it at the last second, sometimes does nothing. Manual pulling is still a total crapshoot on how many times you have to jam the button before the animation even starts and how long the animation takes to complete. I've sorta just stopped jumping from heights because the frustrations in trying to use the parachute aren't bloody worth it.
