I spoke to the company that I bought my PC's from. One of the technicians suggested that I get a copy of 3DMARK and run it. This program runs extensive tests on the components and gives results. I ran the program and there were no errors or components that indicated problems. This confirmed my experience that I have never had any system issues with any of the very many games I have played. I have attached a copy of the results of 3DMARK.
This also confirms my experience with Battlefield 2042 since I purchased it when it was first released. Over 360 hours with no problems. Two computers, no problems.
I am retired now, but for 40 years I was in IT. Started coding in Assembler, and eventually became head of IT for a large European company. I have seen a lot of strange issues in my life,
Is it possible that the creation of the Exposure Map is different in a way that is possibly causing my problem? The thing that comes to my mind is the large increase in the number of "effects" on that map. Seems like there are multiple times as many explosions, etc. Not a technical explanation, just trying to share my thoughts.
At this point I don't know what else to try. The "regular" maps are almost empty now, so there really isn't anything I can play at this point. And the Exposure map kicks me out and therefore I get no credit in the game or gain anything in the Season 1 advances/prizes.
I await your reply/suggestions.
