[PC][Steam][8.7.0] PvE Dead Space Event Empties Laptop Battery in an instant !!

Hello over there, since todays BF2042 Update v8.7.0, by the PvE Dead Space Event BF2042 has emptied my high-end laptop's battery charge even while being plugged in to a power source within minutes ....

    After validation of Steam's BF2042 files by receiving a ~35 MB patch, BF2042 runs "stable" again. CQC, C64 and especially PvE Outbreak. however, if being on Outbreak the UI lag for example by expanding player's ID Cards, and gameplay feels somewhat gluey while still having about 150 fps . . .

Did you test another game mode to make sure this game mode is the issue?

    i have tried, at my location the match maker cannot find a Conquest or Breakthrough session to this time anymore, especially Conquest 128 and even with crossplay enabled. There are maps players like me highly dislike as Stadium and cancel it, that is why that map is in queue on CQC and C64 for many minutes as usually .. I will try again later . . .

    i have just verified gamefiles of BF2042 on Steam. it downloaded and applied a 35 MB patch .. maybe this will help. Lets see later again.
