- @a_Comanche EA If you can't respond or give any feedback, can I have my money back please. This is ridiculous. You tech support help was a joke.
I have got a RTX 3080 and a Ryzen 9 3900X, setup that always make me go so higher fps on shooters but Battlefield 2042 is giving me 60 - 80 FPS with frames drops to 50, please this game needs a performance boost. In last Battlefield (V) i get an fps average over 160.
No updates on this?

GPU USAGE BETWEEN %50-70 IN THE GAME, BUT IN THE LOBBY IT'S %99
WHY IS THAT
can we get some optimization for 128 player games? Or can we get the option to switch to 64 player mode in regular conquest so i dont have to go to portal to actually enjoy the game. i have a 2080 ti and shouldnt be having problems like this. pretty much can only play hazard zone or portal to get smooth gameplay. also dlss actually seems to make the game worse rather than better.
There is a major performance issue my system has an RTX 3060 paired with an i7 10th gen CPU, I'm getting 50-60 fps on all settings 1080p because my GPU utilization won't go more than 60%.
This needs to be looked at as it's not a CPU bottleneck and also I was getting 90+ Fps on beta.

I'm having performance issues too, but I made some commands to help get more FPS
In the game I put everything at minimum, the resolution at 1024x768 running at 60Hz
Open the game console and type: (I have to do them every time I open the game)
Render.ResolutionScale 0.25 - Decreases the resolution scale in a fixed way, in percentage in this case 25%, to 50% put 0.5
Render.ForceDx11 true - Somehow I believe to force DX11 instead of native DX12
WorldRender.LightTileCsPathEnable false - Turns off some lights, making the game darker
WorldRender.TransparencyShadowmapEnable false - This causes the shadows to be non-transparent, making some places too dark
WorldRender.MotionBlurRadialBlurMax 0 - Disables motion blur
WorldRender.MotionBlurQuality 0 - Strips the quality of the motion blur
Thread.MaxProcessorCount 6 - I found this with a default value of 8, but my processor has 6 cores so I decided to change it to that.
My config:
I5 - 9400F
16gb DDR4 dual channel (8gb+8gb) 2666Mhz
NVIDIA GALAX GTX 1060 3gb OC
WINDOWS 10 PRO
HD 7200rpmI get some of my ideas from LowSpecGamer:
this game! highly processor dependent! need a top processor! until the developers fix it
You don't need top shelf CPU for thousands dollars, just go to my topic and follow instructions step by step 😉
If it help you then please write comment under my topic, thanks 😊
