Lol,
EA put a game out that after a month nobody can play!
This is the worst roll out of any game in history! Congratulations EA you have managed to suck more than anyone else in gaming history.
Maybe you should focus more on the game than the wokeness you so terribly want to achieve.
Same problem, after the new patch.
i7 10700k

I lost 50 fps, but i dont know where and why.i7-8700 has terrible performance only in BF2042, fix it please

This is not a valid command. If it was before they removed it. Just tried it in game and it does not exist.
I have
CPU AMD Ryzen 7 2700 (not X)
NVidia 2070
16 GB Ram
I consistently run at very high CPU usage with frame rates in the 30-50 fps range. I have tried everything to get higher FPS over the past few days. Is my setup capable of getting higher fps on this game?
Game was running fine for me until they updated it..
Had 3 solid rounds AFTER UPDATE, game felt really smooth and I took a break.
Came back afterwards (couple hours), launched the game and it launched as if I had launched BF 2042 for the first time ever... Had to redo calibrations, redo my settings, and do the tutorial again.
Get into a game and the game is running like straight trash. I average 55-60fps @ 1440p with my 5700xt , my metrics are telling me I'm still averaging those frames but the game feels like it's running at like 30-40 and I get lots of janky FPS issues.
On top of that I'm experiencing some weird invisible wall BS, my vehicles get hung up on invisible barriers (My vehicle gets stuck in clear air, but if I get out I can sprint right through the "barrier" no problem????? ) and when I exit vehicles I can't ADS, and after I exit I can't re-enter ANY VEHICLE. When I try to reenter the vehicle I'm literally ghost-walking through them, even tho my teammate is still in the gun shooting at stuff so I know they're not destroyed.
I did NOT change anything with my drivers or software, I simply updated the game - played 3 solid rounds the game ran amazing, and now it's running like garbage and I'm experiencing bugs I never experienced before.
What The HECK MY DUDES...
Specs --
Windows 10 Pro
Ryzen 7 5800x
16GB DDR4 3600mghz RAM
Sapphire Radeon 5700xt Nitro+
Samsung Pro 980 1TBFor some reason it drops my MHZ just in this game from 3600 to 3300 cpu running at 45 to 50c so it's not hot, other games it still turbos to 3600 weird
GTX 1070 TI OC
Intel Core i7 4790 3.6Ghz
16Gb Ram
8 VRam
CPU Usage 99%
Gpu Usage 15-20%
I get 9-20fps... EXTREME lag & I can't even kill players due to that bad performance...
You can see the attached image the fps (I tried even scaling down the resolution from 1920x1080 to 1280x1024... still lags A LOT!)
What's the point of buying a new 2k+ Pc just to play a 50$ game?
I will wait till the next update (till then I won't join a game since I can't play like that) And if the performance issues continue I will definitely ask for a refund...
It's sad because I've been playing BF3, BF Hardline, BF1, BFV on Ultra settings with great User Experience, game flow, and now We get just chaotic gaming experience like Call of duty, childish voices, and similar gameplay to cod... It's about strategy and realism. not running or jumping like a bunny with happy skins.
Sure. attached!
@plfrost22 Thanks for the advice. I have never overclocked memory before never really needed to, any advice or guides on how to? This is exact memory I have two sticks of : Crucial Ballistix 16 GB Ram DDR4-3200 CL16 , total 32 GB ram
