I just reinstalled BF2042 on my PC and the game worked for a few days. Now when I try to join a server, the countdown ends, goes to black screen and kicks be back to main menu every single time.
It does this on all game modes, even solo/coop, and I am also unable to join through browsing servers in the portal.
My game is managed through Steam. I have tried reinstalling the EA app and BF2042 with no success. I have tried verifying the files through Steam (not an available option through EA app due to Steam managed), again no success. I have updated my drivers, restarted my computer, run everything as admin, still no success. My computer is high end, I have no issues on other games, and internet speed tests are all good.
Randomly it let my play for a little bit 2 days ago during the day, but by the afternoon (and now for the past 2 days) it is doing it again.
Please help.
I am having the same issue. Here is a clip I uploaded to YouTube of me having the issue over and over no matter what game mode I try to join. It's 5 minutes and shows that I sometimes don't get an error message and other times get a message that says "Player Removed From Game, Game Ended, All Players Disconnected."
I've tried resetting my router/modem, clearing my PS5 cache, and I don't know what to do. I can play any other non-EA games online no issue. It's only battlefield 2042 and V, and I assume if I tried Battlefield 1 or 4 I would also get this issue. I am on PS5 and this began when season 5 for 2042 released.
