I get the same problem but I can't even get into a game. From the main menu I search for a game (this happens in all modes) find a game and when it starts loading the server a few seconds later I'm kicked back out to the main menu. This is also happening to me in battlefield V. It first happened to me the day season 5 came and has been happening since and I cannot play any battlefield game.
I cannot connect to any game in Battlefield 2042 or Battlefield V, and I've linked a 5 minute YouTube video of me having this issue repeatedly no matter what game mode I try to join. I assume this is also an issue in Battlefield 1 and 4, but I haven't tried. I am on PlayStation 5.
Whenever I join a game after the countdown from the main menu, the screen goes black as if it was loading into the server but then kicks me back out to the main menu. Sometimes I don't get any error message and other times I get an error message that says "Player Removed From Game Game Ended All Players Disconnected."
I am completely unable to play the game until this is resolved. I've tried resetting my router/modem and clearing my PS5 cache but that has not worked. I am able to play any other non-EA games online without any issues.

Yes, that it correct. When I join a server in Battlefield V I also transition to loading screen before going back to the menu, though unlike 2042 I have never had an error message after being sent back to the menu. If it would help, I can also try to join a server on Battlefield 1 and 4. I have not tried those games or other EA games I own like Star Wars Battlefront II.
So I tried other EA games that I own to see if I could connect. I tried playing battlefield 4, 1,and V, and Star Wars Battlefront 2. To reiterate, I am connected while in the menus. If I change my loadout in Battlefield 2042 while in the menu, it saves my changes. My internet is good. It's when I join a server that I get kicked back out to the menu.
