Hello,

Yes, that it correct. When I join a server in Battlefield V I also transition to loading screen before going back to the menu, though unlike 2042 I have never had an error message after being sent back to the menu. If it would help, I can also try to join a server on Battlefield 1 and 4. I have not tried those games or other EA games I own like Star Wars Battlefront II.

So I tried other EA games that I own to see if I could connect. I tried playing battlefield 4, 1,and V, and Star Wars Battlefront 2. To reiterate, I am connected while in the menus. If I change my loadout in Battlefield 2042 while in the menu, it saves my changes. My internet is good. It's when I join a server that I get kicked back out to the menu. 

These two games I had no issue:

  • I was able to connect to a battlefield 4 server and play without any issues.
  • I was able to play Star Wars Battlefront II without any issues.

However, these games I was kicked back out to the menu after joining a game. 

  • In Battlefield 1, the same thing happened after joining a server from the server browser. I got an error message saying "Server Disconnected: You have lost the connection to the session."
  • In Battlefield V, the same problem happened. I join a server, begin loading, then mysteriously get sent back to the menu with no error message.
  • In Battlefield 2042, same problem as in the video I uploaded. That video captures what happens in all 3 of these battlefield games that won't let me join a server. 

Hopefully this extra info helps.

    Hmmmmm. Are EA not paying their Server bills I wonder?

      The patch that just released for 2042 didn't fix it, but I didn't expect it to either since it's the same issue is affecting 3 battlefield games. I really hope they can figure it out cuz I don't know what else I can do on my end to try and fix it.
