Portal Editor Fails to Save: "Save was not successful"

Summarize your bug When adding or editing text it will not save. This is for both the text block and when editing the name of a rule. This seems to be affecting all players since update 3.1.2
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Create a new experience. Enter the editor. Add a literal text block and leave it blank. Save the experience and it will save successfully. Add the text "This is a test" to the block. Save the experience and it will fail. Delete the text block. Save the experience and it will save successfully. Edit the name of the rule to "This is a test". Save the experience and it will fail. Change the text back to "New Rule" Save the experience and it will save successfully.
What happens when the bug occurs? When saving an experience an error will occur "Save was not successful"
What should be happening instead? It should save correctly

Since update 3.1.2 the Portal editor will not save experiences if a user adds or modifies text in either the Text Block or the name of a Rule. When saving an error will be displayed "Save was not successful". This seems to be affecting all users and causing major issues for the Portal Community.

The issue can be replicated easily and fails every time.

To replicate the issue:
Create a new experience.
Enter the editor.
Add a literal text block and leave it blank.
Save the experience and it will save successfully.
Add the text "This is a test" to the block.
Save the experience and it will fail.
Delete the text block.
Save the experience and it will save successfully.
Edit the name of the rule to "This is a test".
Save the experience and it will fail.
Change the text back to "New Rule"
Save the experience and it will save successfully.

Hopefully this issue can be resolved soon, as mentioned this appears to affect all users.

Hi all,

A little birdie told me that this issue ("Save was not successful") should now be resolved.

Could that be correct?

It seems to have worked last night. There was a further issue that started about an hour ago where all experiences failed to load but for most people it seems to be fixed now in the last 20 minutes. I'm assuming it was part of the maintenance for the save issue. There's one user I'm aware of still having issues retrieving their experiences.

The remaining user can now load their experiences as well 😀
I have done more testing with saving with text this morning and this is still working so I'm hoping this is it sorted 🙂

@EA_Leeuw I can confirm that saving is now successful.

However, I think there is something up with the “teleport” code block.
It doesn’t seem to be working.
I need to test it on a couple of servers to know for sure - which I should be able to do later today.

My Portal Editor Mode does Not save when i use the block editor, it worked some weeks ago, now some vars are vanished, or not working, and as i said, not saving.
Any help?

It looks like if you want it to save you might have to remove all in-game text. This was the only thing that worked for me. I attempted to add the in-game text back in, one by one, and it says it saved but it actually didn't when I went back and looked. I also noticed save wouldn't always appear clickable by altering blocks, so I had to add or remove any one character of text in the description and then save would appear. Also, The "If" blocks are definitely bugged when involving "Else" and "Else If".

I have no intention to dismember my portal experience, they must fix the editor, it took a lot of time, blocks and logics to me, so i need a resolution.
