Portal Hosting Error Message Bug/Glitch

Since last weeks update 8.4.1 on Portal if you host a created server it usually plays absolutely fine but if you leave or take down the server it shows in the 'Host' UI screen that it's still active with you in it, and then you go to re-join the match and a variable error message comes up ie; cross-play disabled please see ea.com/unable-to-connect. Other different error messages have come up prior to this one and I have managed to clear the glitch and re-join the same server or another created one. Now I am unable to clear the cross play error message by spamming the 'Join Match' or 'Take Down' button and so the server is left active and I am not able to join any of my created servers. I play on Xbox Series X and hosted numerous servers with mostly PvP AI and not experienced this glitch or bug before.
