PS4/PS5 controller not working on PC

Summarize your bug I am playing the game through Origin. I have a gaming desktop and also a gaming laptop because I travel quite a bit. I prefer to play on the desktop because of my monitor so I downloaded the beta on my desktop and I had fun with it. I had a PS4 controller (I have now bought a PS5 controller to use) connected via USB cable to my desktop. The PS4 controller worked great in the beta and in the options menu under controller settings, it showed a PS4 controller being used. Fast forward to game launch, I download the full game and go to the menu with my PS4 controller plugged in. It showed up as a Xbox Ones Series X controller and didn’t show up as a PS4 controller like it did in the beta. I also downloaded it on my gaming laptop and I plugged up my controller to it and it worked flawlessly just like the beta. The new PS5 controller is doing the same thing, on my desktop it shows up as a Xbox controller but it works fine on my laptop copy of the game. I have scanned and repaired the game, it didn’t work. I have uninstalled the game, and it still didn’t work. The controller works fine on all my other games, except this one (on my desktop). Please help because I am only limited to my gaming laptop for BF 2042 and I would like to be able to play the game on my desktop. I apologize for the lengthy email but I do not know what else to do.

What happens when the bug occurs? It shows up as a XBOX controller when I am using a playstation controller.
What should be happening instead? A playstation controller should show up as the controller being used.
