DICE Team@DirtyRangr What happens when you try to invite each other and I assume you are playing on the correct version of the game as you can have both generations installed?

If we select 'Join' nothing appears to happen we don't join the other player and the screen doesn't change. If we invite each other sometimes the person doesn't see the invite and sometimes they do, but if they do see and invite and accept it, nothing happens.
We are both on the correct version as far as I know, we both pre-ordered the PS5 only version of the game and keep them updated (as you have to, to play online).
Not sure what you mean as EA Friends. He is already a PS5 friend, and I always see him in my Friends online drop down in the game (after selecting 'Social'), that is how we try sending each other 'Invites' or try 'Joining' each other.
Unfortunately I won't be online now until after Christmas as I have to travel for family reasons. But if you have any suggestions I can try them when I get back.

I'm having the same issue. I can't locate my son under his EA name. When I search for it, we can't find each other. We've checked the spelling. Everything's correct and yet I can't join him and he can't join me in a party. We are however in the same household He's on his system. I'm on mine
