The 4k60hz display I deliberately used in the test was wired with USB, which is an objective fact. The monitor I tested with was BENQ PD2700U, I made sure that everything was done in a fair environment for the input delay test, stating that if I didn't bother I wouldn't come back for official help

@TIME2K_CN I didn‘t compare them in slow motion, but only some gameplays were enough for feeling and having the laggy experience. I do confirm a laggy input while using the Non-OLED 4K monitor (Philips LED 4k60 supported by hdmi 2.0, no VRR or ALLM or boost for input were supported), which is more noticeable in bf2042 than any other game. I‘ve tested the CoD Modern warfare 2 and Rainbow Six Sieg on both tv‘s. All other games look extremely responsive on the oled tv and look good and playable on the normal 4k tv. The bf2042 looks ok on the oled TV in comparison to the other games, but somehow has higher input delay on the older monitor, maybe the developers has used the features of the hdmi 2.1 to reduce the input delay on the consoles, but this delay still exists and more visible und noticeable on non hdmi 2.1 Monitors.This game has a lot of bugs, i‘m not really sure, if dice will be able to fix all of the ingame bugs and make the game more enjoyable and playable, before the game completely die.

@Rokebo73 But you have to know, 4k60hz output signal, only need HDMI 2.0 is enough, this is not 4K120hz, HDMI 2.1 won't work, maybe vrr will help. I feel the problem is that the BF2042 forces players to turn on Vsync, which is good for the graphics, but the problem is that there is a significant lag in the action. I wish they would let players choose whether to turn on Vsync or not

Are you playing the ps4 version on ps5, because if so then this issue is normal and you should live with.
The ps5 version has very small lag thanks to the low latency feature supported by ps5 consoles and the HDMI 2.1, that you can‘t really notice while playing, maybe a solution for you would be:
1- to check your screen configuration and put the input lag to the lowest available option, or switch to game mode if you don‘t have input lag option in your TV.
2- Update the firmware of your controller may fix the issue if it‘s a controller issue.
For me I‘m using a fiber optic hdmi 2.1 cable on LG OLED TV, which give me the choice to set the input lag to boost and as a result the input lag until everything is being rendered on the screen is less than 10 ms and this is not noticeable even with 240fps slow motion video, you should go to 960fps slow motion to start seeing the first difference or what called small lag, if you have a very strong sight.

Try this and I hope that will help you out.

@TIME2K_CN I know it‘s a big different as i was playing on my gaming laptop at first on a nVIDIA RTX 30 series graphic card, which has a lot of latency lowering features, that are not available in PlayStation consoles. So the ultra low latency and ultimate game speed you will get on pc are far away from the experience you get on PlayStation even while locking the fps to 60 fps on pc you have a better experience, but unfortunately the pc version of the game is still broken and has tons of bugs, that are not fixed yet and this is why i stoped playing on pc and continued only on PlayStation. I would say after all of this time playing on my console, that I‘m having fun on PlayStation and i hope that they consider enabling a performance mode in the game to be able to run at 120fps on PlayStation 5 consoles even if the resolution will be dropped to 1080p it still more fun than the 60fps.

@Hard_Attack_HD I know, but in the same situation COD has no significant input delay and can still be stable at 120hz. I don't require 120hz, but at least don't lose to COD in terms of input delay

If you‘re using CoD in performance mode at 120fps, so i guess that‘s the only difference, because in performance mode you have freesync enabled or what called VRR in PlayStation and you have more fps of course and this will definitely lower the input lag at least to the half. Try to disable VRR and lock the fps of CoD to 60 and you will get the same result as bf 2042. Maybe if DICE and EA consider only enabling the VRR in the bf 2042 will has a lot of benefits and impact on the gaming experience on consoles

@TIME2K_CN Plz don‘t get me wrong. I was trying to figure out the issue lays behind your input lag. I can‘t say that i don‘t have it but maybe i didn‘t realize it on my oled tv, i will test it tomorrow on my other 4k monitor with HDMI 2.0b and let you know if i got that input lag
