PS5 Remote Works In Old PC Not In New PC

I have a 5 Year old PC running an Nvidia 3070ti and MSI motherboard and I have had battlefield 2042 for two months now and it plays perfectly fine with my PS5 remote. I just built a new PC and for some reason even with a clean install the PS5 remote does not work properly. It’s mapped incorrectly and the D pads does not work at all and the regular buttons act as D pad instead and I just don’t know why. Any help on this would make a world of a difference. I am running this game from the EA app since I have game pass ultimate I don’t use this game on Steam!
