Re: Game lost after transfer between accounts

Ok, after spending another 2 hours with the chat support team and restarting my PC a dozen of times and trying every thinkable way to resolve this issue, there is still no solution. The game is still invisible (at least for me, since the EA support staff confirmed on multiple occasions, that the game is well in the accounts library). It is very frustrating honestly. When I try to start the game out of it's windows folder I get the error message: "You have no access [...]".

    Hey @sulumorr,

Is this account, where you write these forums posts with, the correct EA account? As in, your new EA account with all the games?

    Hey @sulumorr,

That is awesome. I checked your account real quick, the one you created these posts with, - this is not something we normally do via the forums - and can indeed confirm that BF2042 is on this account.

May I ask what you did to make it work again?
  • Hey @EA_Leeuw,

I uninstalled everything related to EA inlcuding every game on my hard drive. After reinstalling everything I could now see the missing item in my library.

@erwhuofwehw, oh, that's unfortunate. Did you unlink any accounts by any chance? Because if you say that you've lost in-game progression, it's most likely the case that you've unlinked accounts, or you're just logging in with the incorrect EA account/linked accounts.

Before Xmas, I had 2 xbox accounts linked to my primary EA account, my main xbox and my smurf account

In February I opened up my EA account page to find nothing was linked, presuming some outside force or a bug, i linked my primary xbox account to my secondary EA account, and linked away my 2nd xbox acc so there wasn't 2 accounts linked

Upon linking back my primary xbox account to my primary EA account, I had my progress on bf2042 lost, or the data linked to my xbox account isn't showing when I load up the game,

I'm using my xbox game progress on PC via ea app and game pass

the support people do not have the ability, i tried, they are also unable to identify whats happened and the standard response when i mention this to them is, "you cant have two accounts linked the system doesnt let you" or something similar

which i why i have resorted to posting on here,

if the channels worked as intended, id go through them
