Originally posted in technical support, but responding to this post for the third time hoping that the bug gets resolved. Pretty frustrated with the lack of support for the load out bug. Can’t remember who, but someone at EA mentioned it getting fixed in update #2 (this didn’t happen) then the website said it would be updated in update #3, but then there was nothing in the patch notes. I’d hoped it was an oversight or worded differently somewhere in the notes, but I’m my second game in after the patch and my load out is missing yet again.
Given it’s listed as a “slight tendency” when it’s really a regular or fairly frequent occurrence, I’d wanted to get a new post out to hopefully get some traction in seeing this fixed as it really sucks being able to only run one weapon / one load out as you know it’s going to get reset anyway (specialist selected, specialist cosmetics, weapon / gear load out, weapon cosmetics, vehicle attachments, vehicle cosmetics, drone cosmetics, and occasionally all weapon attachments).

Started:2nd or 3rd day of early access for me, but I’ve read that this was a known issue back in open beta.
Short synopsis: You load into game without a specialist selected and everything grayed out. You cannot deploy until you select a specialist, at which point you started with the generic load out. You then have to reset your load out for all weapons and vehicles, possibly weapon attachments. These updates may carry over to the next match or you may have to repeat this process for the next five consecutive matches, it’s really a toss up.
