Can you include a DxDiag so we can look at your system specs and Windows errors? We'll see what we can do to help improve FPS for you. Do you also run the game with our programs running in the background, such as overlays? How to gather DxDiag information

Are you running any overlays or other programs in the background?
If you do a clean boot and then immediately launch Battlefield as Administrator without opening other programs do you see an FPS improvement? This is to determine if it's software running in the background conflicting with the game. This is ideally a good start for troubleshooting to rule out that possibility. How to Clean Boot your PC

Can you load up the game and then go to Task Manager. Do you see any high CPU or memory usage for programs? Yea only battlefield have high cpu and memory usage around 8gb i have 16gb DDR4 2133MHz
Hey @EA_Blueberry , attaching DxDiag file. I am having the same issue, CPU usage is 100% seems to be affected by CPU bottleneck. Hoping, there will be fix available in upcoming patches. Please have a look and report to the devs.
@EA_Blueberry attached screenshot of the Task Manager. CPU usage is high, GPU & memory usage is low.

You could use the latest driver for your video card. Can you check for pending Windows updates too? - @EA_Blueberry its already updated. I have given few days old dxdiag file. I have reinstalled the game as well but getting max 50 fps.
Can you atleast confirm if devs are aware of this issue and going to bring fix sooner? - EA_Blueberry4 years ago

- @EA_Blueberry Thanks!!!
@EA_BlueberryI like that you are trying to help people out but people have come out and stated that the Frostbite engine is a hell to work with and a real s**t performing engine at that. There is so much you can do. People have to re-format their pc's, upgrade OS's, downclock their memory frequencies, tweak the PROFILE config, not have overlays running, etc, etc. The game is horribly optimized. I was playing on Valparaiso just some minutes ago and some parts of the map are unfinished, you can see through the terrain and fall under. I mean come on, it's an AAA title with tons of mulla poured into it right? Why is it SO unfinished? I know you mean well @EA_Blueberry but you gotta tell EA/Dice that people are REALLY unhappy and dissapointed. People have bought new pc's while waiting for BF2042 and it's been released in this state? As a mainly BF player I can speak for alot of fans of the genre that this one, BF2042, should have been delayed at the very least 6 more months if not for a year.
And this is only on the topic of technical issues, lets not start going into gameplay issues cause that's an other HARD headache to deal with.Bumping for notability.
@Kryglo_93 As I notice you have slightly better GPU then I have, and same amount or RAM with the same frequency.
I struggled with 100% CUP usage and I had 20-45 FPS in the game. I fix it and now I can play in like 75 FPS, sometimes ins going down to 35 and sometimes it's jumping up to 105 FPS, I don't feel any effect because of that and I can play smoothly. While I'm playing my CPU usage is from 95% to 100% but.... it doesn't make game lag at all, no crashes, no freezes just perfect performance. I play like that for 3rd day, couple of hours per day and my PC feels fine.
If you want to you can try use my tutorial which I write as simple as possible with screenshots to make it even easier.
Here is the link to my tutorial, If you try it and you will get some better performance then I will be happy :D
@Technik_plays It may work for you as well 🙂
If my tutorial helped you guys just let others know, thanks :>
This has to be the choppiest bf launch version I have played ever, worse than bf4 was. Latest drivers, latest windows. Granted, my system is on the lower end now being 2 years old, but for me the regular game modes/maps are unplayable. Portal is significantly better, though still rough at times. Hanging out for an optimisation patch before I really start playing it again. Its just not fun skating around on bare minimum settings at 25-30fps.
- @Jimieus What is your PC specs?
Thanks anyway but im done with trying... im little bit pissed off to try and change so many settings in windows or reinstall i just wait for fixable patch if the patch will come out :d
- @plfrost22 it worked man, atleast I am getting constant 60 fps. I only did oc ram and increased speed. Thank you for the tips.
@Kryglo_93 you should try oc ram and increase speed, that did worked for me at the moment until we wait for the patch late December or next year. @Technik_plays I'm happy that solution works for you as well 😁
Please also comment my topic so more players will see it and belive it is possible to make battlefield works better. Also If more people will prove my tutorial helps then moderators may pin topic to the top and it's not gonna drown between other topics. Thanks 😊
