Have you tried to remove the (Prof)Save files from your system and see if that fixes the issue? They are located in "C:\Users\<your PC username>\Documents\Battlefield 2042\settings"

I am getting the same issue. Battlefield crashes everytime i try to run it and a message comes up saying the exact thing you stated. I've tried everything, hard resetting pc, deleting save files, and reinstalling the game and still nothing. Same issue over and over again. I was finally starting to enjoy playing the game as well and now i can't.
