Save files corrupted, can't start the game

I cannot play as when I try to launch the game the response is: WARNING: One or more save files are corrupted and are inaccessible. If I continue, the save will be corrupted.

This makes Battlefield unplayable for me...since blue screen and freeze my pc.

My setup:

i9 13900k
64gb DDR5
Nvidia 3090
2TB on nvme m.2

I have already tried formatting the pc

  • @EA_Leeuw no fix for this issue after over 2 months now, i already quitted BF2042. There is no way to play the game in any machine with my account i belive if you reset progression i have a small chance to play; unitl then i cannot play a game that i spent over 110€ for the preorder gold edition, what a scam.
  • no updates in this topic in 2 weeks? they have a broken game and didn't know how to fix it. Get my money back

  • Im having the same problem-

And trying to start the game.
I did taking away the documents folder. ANd now i have new problems.

  • I actually made it work.
    Run BIOS
Disabled XMP config on DDRR5 so its lower now. (4800MHz)

    Hardware:
    Intel i91300K -
    RAM: Corsair Vengeance 5200MHz
    Mother: Gigabyte Z690 Gaming X - BIOS version F22
    PNY 4090 - drivers 532.03 - 05/24/23
    Firecuda

I Think problem is with I91300K compatibilty. Randomly having issues with Directx12
I am also limiting the i9 to 210W power max usage to low the temps
(it shouldnt reach 100C depending on coller system)

  • I have 3 machines, all robust with plenty of power and have the exact same problem

  • More than a year later, have the same issue.

Is there really no fix? was just getting back into the game too ☹️

  • UPDATE:

i menaged to click the "x" on the warning pop up(was a little difficult).

That reset my settings, and redo the initial tutorial but that's it, nothing else was lost.(all the progress, attachments, gadgets etc are safe)

so, the "solution" to this is to go ehead and open the game anyway.

(what i did was also deleting the save files but i have no idea if that changed anything)

    hope this helps!
