[Series X] - Sound randomly becomes very muffled and quiet
As of the latest 4.0 patch on Series X, with headphones in, set to War Tapes and Surround setting. I’ve played around with the different sound profiles and this is occurring every time as of the 4.0 patch.
Randomly throughout a match the sound will become very muffled and quiet, as if I’m playing the game underwater or in a different room. It sounds like there’s a blanket on top of my ears.
I have to either quit the match or reload the game to fix this bug.
@Nayyarp Could you try to power cycle the console and see if that helps.
How to power cycle:
- Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.
- Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.
- Important Make sure that you wait at least 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.
- Plug the console power cable back in.
- Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.
