Are you using any sort of separate audio interface or software?

Yes, I plug my headphones into a Scarlet Focusrite Audio Interface. I reinstalled all the drivers last night and it's still only an issue with BF 2042. I played several hours last night of CS2, Halo Infinite, Rainbow 6 Siege, and COD.  BF 2042 was the only game giving me problems.
