Sound Issues - dropping out

Hi,

Hope you can help ? - sound drops out and crackles intermittently - makes the game practically unplayable

System :

Windows 11 

CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9700K CPU @ 3.60GHz 3.60 GHz

RAM :16.0 GB

Graf Card: NVIDIA RTX 2080 super

Sound: SteelSeries Sonar - Driver 4.7.47.561

  • What kind of sound set up do you have? Is any hardware maxing out when sound quality goes down? @Black_Devil

  • @EA_Atic Thanks for the reply - Both drops out using headphones or Speakers - have tried lowering graphics to low but no change.

    Set up as above :PC is  MSI Trident X

    @Black_Devil Hey man.
    I see indeed some issues with your Steel series for sound !
    There is a known issues with crackling noise/sound !
    Why it cause issues i dont know but there seems to be a workaround for it ! At youtube there are some movies about this issue (to solve with LASSO is an option !)
    I see also an issue with Intel(R) Gaussian Mixture Model , for speech Recognition.
    This QmlRenderer.exe (icue) for your gpu has also crashed , i do not know why and if its causing any other issues (with other software maybe).

    try to disable those issues (services/software) first and test game , then activate just one of then and test again to find what is causing those issues ! Maybe reinstall of this software could help fix it !
