Try my method which I described here in the post at the link, if the game closes to the desktop without any error then in my opinion you don't have enough Ram. I hope I hit you with the solution.

@DMGG1994 Unfortunately that didn't solve it. I have 32GB of DDR4-3200MHz ram. I just checked each stick as well to ensure there's no hardware issues there.
You have enough RAM, so changing the pagefile size won't change anything, the problem is elsewhere.
