also wanted to let you know that this trial screen only happens when I start it through the EA app. If I launch from desktop, it does not happen

Nope! Avoided that this time around seeing i had issues with both installed on my previous windows 11 installation.

@moepkid101, gotcha. Could you please try to clear the EA app cache, perform a repair of the game (choose the 3 dots on the game tile) and see if you still get the error?
