The latest version of EA anticheat is required to play

I was playing Battlefield (BF2042) 2042 just fine the other night when I got this error. 

Security Breach (Upper left corner of pop up window). The body read: The latest version of EA anticheat is required to play. Please see: https://help.ea.com/help/pc/ea-anticheat/ on how to update to latest version. (136)

I tried the above link and that did not work in any way shape or form. I did this several times without luck.

I did the whole empty cache and app recovery. No luck.

I uninstalled the EA app and battlefield 2042. One would think a fresh installation would install the required updated version of EA's anticheat. That was a HARD NO. 

Windows updates: everything is and was up to date and drivers are up to date.

I can play any other game from any other platform with no issues whatsoever. 

Question: Why the hell am I the one having to manually do an update for ES's anticheat software? This seems to be something that is your job. I paid for a service and have to manually fix your garbage. Nah, makes absolutely zero cents. 

I know I'm coming across as abrasive but this isn't just about not being able to play a game. Just like EA, it's about money. The most important thing on this planet. This is a waste of money.
