The problem of high ping

Try doing a traceroute for Battlefield 5 and lookup which country the server IP is in.

Then do a traceroute for Battlefield 2042 servers and see which country the server IP is in.

If both IP addresses are in the same country then the ping times should be similar.

So what is the problem?

I am sure that it is not a problem with my internet or my internet provider.

I play Battlefield 5, 4 and 1 on servers that are not close and there is no problem. Or even high ping, knowing that the servers are far away.

 The problem is only in Battlefield 2042 and the problem appeared recently. I do not know what the reason is. I stopped playing for about a month and when I returned to playing, this problem occurred.

Server list ping times don't appear to be accurate.

There are differences
In the server list, sometimes it gives lower ping 
Outside server 66
And when you enter, the problem appears, which is high ping
Inside server 95
And sometimes the server list matches what is inside the server

Sometimes my ping before entering the server is 65 and at the beginning of entering the server it is from 95 and above and is stable above 100

And sometimes it is identical inside the game and the game server

The last tracerouter with server IP 44.194.120.71 is located in the United States. That would explain the high ping.

IP 3.218.10.242 is also in the United States.

IP 54.217.60.188 is located in Ireland. Which should give a better ping time than United States. Unfortunately the traceroute doesn't reveal much information for the Ireland game servers.

The last hop not responding is normal since Amazon has their gateway router configured to not respond to ICMP ping requests. The farthest we can trace is to the edge of Amazon's data center network, but that should usually give a 90% accurate ping time.

Although this isn't the case for the traceroute to Ireland. I would expect the ping time to be higher than 14ms going from Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Ireland. The way it's being routed makes it hard to tell what's happening at the very end of the traceroute.

I can't complete the test.
