Maybe running a game repair and deleting DirectX shader cache files will help.

Lets hope this is not a physical defect in your GPU and that just your video drivers have gotten a bit mangled.

done repair several times, reinstalled graphics drivers, cleared cache reinstalled the game etc etc. Only bf2042 is like this since the patch, no other game is affected

Nope - changing DLSS settings makes no difference
