Maybe running a game repair and deleting DirectX shader cache files will help.

Lets hope this is not a physical defect in your GPU and that just your video drivers have gotten a bit mangled.

Reinstall or update your video drivers to check this out, thanks.

    done repair several times, reinstalled graphics drivers, cleared cache reinstalled the game etc etc. Only bf2042 is like this since the patch, no other game is affected

      If you can access the DLSS settings, check if using different options or turning DLSS off has an effect on this, thanks.

        Nope - changing DLSS settings makes no difference
