Trial period has 9 hrs left but game says trial has ended

I was trying to play online last night (PS5) but unable to connect as I was getting the persistent data message. I tried again this morning to check if it was any better. After starting the game it tells me I have 8hrs 54mins left in EA Play trial period. When I push X to get to the main menu it comes up with a system message saying my trial period has ended?

Can you please provide support to rectify this issue. Frustrating that I am unable to play.

  • I'm having the same issue on my PC. Apparently I've played 16 hours today. It's 1:35 pm PST. It's literally impossible for me to have played 16 hours today, as 16 hours haven't even elapsed.

    @EA_Barry Chat isn't able to help me on this issue. 

    "I just consulted with our concerned team for your case but we have not received such cases and there is no issue with the servers too. Sometimes game keep running in the background if they are not closed properly so that could be the reason and I've checked if we can reset the trial hours too but I am afraid there is no such option to reset the trial hours."
     
    My computer was turned off. 
  • I got the following from chat: "Also I have checked your case with our team and would like to inform you that we have been receiving many cases same like you are facing and you just need to wait for some time, this is a known issue to us and our concerned team is working hard to fix the issue."
