Unable to connect to EA servers.

Unable to connect to EA servers.

90% of the time I can't play due to getting an error message saying "Unable to connect to EA servers" with the error code 1:4688822970: 15021:4688822970:0B

I'm playing on a PS5.

I've tried everything from rebooting the system, wifi, modem, etc.

Please advise.

  • Hi there,

Can we try setting a different DNS on your PS5 to see if that helps? You can set a different DNS using the steps below:

    1. Open your PS5 Settings

    2. Select Network

    3. Select Settings

    4. Select Set Up Internet Connection

    5. Choose Set Up Manually

    6. Choose WiFi or LAN Cable depending on what type of connection you're using.

    7. Select DNS

    8. Enter 8.8.8.8 as the Primary DNS and 8.8.4.4 as the Secondary DNS. This is the public Google DNS, but I've also heard that using the public Cloudflare DNS can help (Primary DNS: 1.1.1.1)

    9. Select Done

Let me know if you're still having any trouble connecting after that. Thank you!

  • I’m just getting this issue. PS5, never had a connection issue before and now I have not been able to play for the last 48 hours due to the same connection problems others have listed. I have tried all the fixes listed by EA members but no dice. How can I fix this?
