Unable to load dbdta.dll can be caused by.

Corrupt system files.
Malware infection.
Incomplete installation.
APP Interference.

Do a scan disk. to verify your system is free of corruption. In run box Type CMD, right click it and select run as administrator, in the CMD box type "sfc /scannow" without the quotes, and let it run when it completes it will tell you if it finds any corrupt files. Type exit in CMD box and restart computer.

If sfc /scannow finds errors it can't fix use DISM command in CMD. in run box type CMD and right click and run as administrator, in the CMD box type "DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth" without quotes and hit enter. Let it run it should repair Windows.

Check your computer for infection, use Malwarebytes free and scrub your computer.

Verify game files. Open your Steam game library and right click BF2042 and choose verify game files. In game library in EA APP you should see three dots to the upper right of the game picture, click on them and select repair game.

APP interference is usually something like your anti-virus blocking the game, enter the game in your antivirus's exceptions. You can also launch the game in clean boot to see if some background task is blocking it.

@CikolataliErkek  did ya try to replace this file ?
I did rar this file.
Unrar/unzip and copy past the file in to youre bf2042 installation folder.
Also copy / past it into WINDOWS / WOW64 folder.

ps rename (move) the old dll files as backup, if ya need them or want to restore it !
